Online reviews were stellar (from multiple sites) and we were looking for a service that would have a high attention to detail, which was indicated by your website.
What was your overall wedding budget excluding honeymoon and rings?

If you did not use us for invitations, programs, gifts, or dance instruction can you tell us what affected your decision and/or what we can offer that would have been more attractive to you?
We were set on cutting costs by DIY-ing most of our decorations, invites, etc., which we did successfully for a fraction of what it would have cost to have anyone else do it, so I don't think there is anything that would have made this attractive to us.
If you did use us for any of our additional services can you tell us what your motivating factor was and if you were pleased with the service?

One of the most important aspects of our event was the music and dancing that would be taking place, so we were intent upon finding the best quality service that would both cater to our tastes and would be augmented by their own professional abilities as a high priority in our planning process. We therefore attempted to find the highest rated DJ service that we could find and made sure to ask the right questions before making a final decision. This worked well for us, and I would recommend a similar process for any services that are of similar priority and importance (i.e. we used a similar process to find our photographer).

DJ Mel was, hands down, the best wedding DJ I have ever encountered. Of course I'm biased, but we've been to a lot of weddings with terrible DJs so it was refreshing to have a true professional keeping our event at a high energy level. We received a lot of compliments on this aspect of our wedding - well done and thank you!
