What do you feel was the biggest factor in your decision to hire us when comparing to other companies (price, advertising, song list)? Do you recall any other DJ services you considered?
I hired your DJ's do to the amount of entertainment we wanted. I had been to many weddings, gatherings, etc. with terrible DJ's.

If you did not use us for invitations, programs, gifts, or dance instruction can you tell us what affected your decision and/or what we can offer that would have been more attractive to you?
We did not want programs, and the invitations we used I found on clearance at Michael's so we printed them ourselves which helped save a lot of money. We didn't really like personalized gifts as most people end up not actually using what was gifted to them (since most are novelty items). We ended up buying matching purses, flip flops and jewelry for the bridesmaids and matching Vans for the men. The dance lessons were a little expensive so we ended up just doing a boring slow sway.

Do: figure out exactly what you want for your wedding and not settle with what was cheapest. That's not making your day memorable or personalized. Do listen to yourself and not your family. In the end it is you and your spouses day, not moms' and dads'. Don't: Don't always go with the most expensive. They are not always the best. Don't always mention it's for a wedding. Prices tend to go higher with that title added. Don't go in with your wedding all planned out. It never ends up the way you want it, which makes it more stressful when no one would know the difference if it's what you asked for or not. Don't worry about bumps on the day of. Our caterer said they were no longer providing the dessert 3 hours before the wedding began; we went to Costco and bought out their cakes. Worked perfect and no one would have known if we didn't say anything. You can share my advice!

You did a wonderful job and were so much fun! I'm glad we had someone who was getting into the music as much as we were. It may have helped to walk through things once more before the reception began, but in the end it worked!
