What do you feel was the biggest factor in your decision to hire us when comparing to other companies (price, advertising, song list)? Do you recall any other DJ services you considered?
One of the biggest factors was the option to give our top choices for DJ selection, and that we would know who our DJ was a month ahead of time - vs the week of at many other places. We also liked that you were a preferred vendor at our venue, so it was a relief to know that there wouldn't be any issues with getting set up or any problems with equipment.

If you did not use us for invitations, programs, gifts, or dance instruction can you tell us what affected your decision and/or what we can offer that would have been more attractive to you?
I didn't quite care for the invitation selection since they seemed more formal and we were looking for something a little more modern. We wanted to use the dance instruction, and actually won a free class at your meet and greet event, however there weren't any classes before our wedding and when we tried to reach out to the instructors, they didn't get back to us for several weeks and then we ran out of time before the wedding.

If you could do it over, what would you say was a "do" or "don't" in hiring vendors or planning the day? May we share your answers? Your full name will not be posted.
With hiring vendors, I think it is crucial to meet with people in person. One thing that we LOVED about adagio was the fact that we were able to meet DJs at the meet and greet event prior to our wedding to talk with different people to get a feel for their personality. That made a WORLD of difference. A bio on a website can give you an initial impression, but talking with people in person is without a doubt the way to go. Your wedding is the most special day of your life and you spend so much time planning it. One thing I always felt was "out of my control" was our dance. You can't REALLY plan to have a good dance. It depends on the music, DJ, and the overall tone of your day. So it was something I was nervous about. But Pete did the most phenomenal job at reading our group of guests and playing the perfect mix of music. I seriously cannot thank him enough for making the 4 hours of our dance a constant party and making our reception such a blast. And we were able to meet him prior to our wedding, so we knew we would be comfortable with him, which i think made a huge difference! Also - I'd say that going with the "cheaper" companies isn't worth it. Go with professionals who aren't just going to treat you like a number. Again - its your wedding. You SHOULD be treated special. Saving a hundred bucks isn't worth it. I always felt we could reach out to adagio and get a quick response, and was treated with respect. That goes a long way with me! Yes you can use my answers! You guys were awesome!

I honestly can't brag enough about you guys! From start to finish, you were a phenomenal company to work with. There was never any stress behind this part of our wedding because of you! We knew we had a great company, selected an awesome DJ, and had the best wedding dance we could have ever asked for! I seriously wouldn't have changed one thing. We were both so impressed with Pete. He read our group perfectly and hosted the best party. One thing I remember specifically from that night was Pete coming over to me around 11:15 saying we had about 45 minutes left and wondering if there was anything specific we wanted him to play, or any changes to make. I simply told him to keep doing what he was doing - because our dance was going GREAT and the dance floor was packed all night. We hired a professional for a reason -- and he lived up to that and BEYOND. He was fun, interactive when need be, and kept our guests having fun all night long. We even had people begging for one more song at the end of the night - which i've never seen at another wedding i've attended! That is truly a testament to how much fun he made the night! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. We couldn't be happier -- and we will recommend Adagio (and Pete!) to everyone we know! By far the BEST company we could have worked with! I wish we could do it all again!
